Privacy Policy

Who we are

YT1D is a free online tool for saving YouTube videos as MP4 or MP3 files. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean YT1D. You can reach us at contact@yt1d.xyz.

What happens when you paste a link

When you paste a link, it is sent to our server. Our server passes the video ID to a processing partner, which prepares the MP4 or MP3 file you choose. The link is used only for this purpose.

We don't need your name, your email address or an account to do this.

What we don't keep

We don't store the links you paste, the files you download or a history of what you saved. There is no account, so there is no profile about you. Files are prepared and sent by our processing partner's servers, which keep them only for a short time, and we keep no copies.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. You do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download. Some buttons also open a page from our advertising partners. Those pages are run by third parties, follow their own privacy policies and may use cookies.

Hosting and technical data

Our site runs on a hosting and content delivery network. Like every website, it receives technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the time of your visit. This data is used to deliver pages, keep the service running and protect it from abuse.

Thumbnails and file delivery

When a video is found, its thumbnail image loads directly from YouTube's image servers. The progress of your file and the file itself come from our processing partner's servers. Both receive the technical data that every web request carries, such as your IP address.

Emails and contact form messages

If you email us or use the contact form, we use your message and your address only to reply to you. We don't add you to any mailing list.

Children

YT1D is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you think a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask any question about this policy. Because we keep almost nothing, most requests will be about emails you sent us. Write to contact@yt1d.xyz.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
