Each file can be up to 2 GB. A long video in 1080p can be bigger than that, so YT1D shows the size of every option before you tap it. If a quality is over 2 GB, choose a smaller one.

MP4 downloader questions
Can I download YouTube videos in 1080p?
Yes. If a video is available in 1080p, YT1D lists it with its file size. Tap it, and when the file is ready, tap Download to save it.
Why don't I see 1080p for some videos?
A quality appears only if the video was uploaded in it. Older or smaller videos may stop at 720p or lower.
Why is 360p sometimes bigger than 480p?
Each quality is encoded on its own, so file sizes don't always follow the order of the qualities. That is why YT1D shows the size of every option.
Can I save YouTube Shorts as MP4?
Yes. Paste the Short's link and choose a quality. The vertical frame stays as it is, so the video looks right on your phone.
Is there a limit on how many videos I can download?
We set no daily limit. If the service is very busy, you may be asked to try again a little later.
How do I move a downloaded video to my iPhone's Photos?
Open the Files app, go to Downloads and tap the video. Tap the Share button, then choose Save Video. It will appear in Photos.
